Children aged 2-13 are welcome to enjoy the Blue Lagoon free of charge with their family or guardian. However, it is mandatory for children aged 2 to 8 to wear inflatable armbands (also known as ‘floaties’, ‘water wings’) in the lagoon. These are provided free of charge
Please also be aware that each guardian is only allowed to supervise two children under the age of 10.

Pick up information
Your pickup will be 1.5 hrs prior to your booked entrance time to the Blue Lagoon
Pickup service is operated by Smartbus, a green bus that picks up from bus stops, hotels, and guesthouses all over Reykjavík. Please be ready and visible on time at the pickup location selected.
You can arrange for pickup to be from Reykjavik and be dropped off at Keflavik Airport. Blue Lagoon offers a luggage storage while you explore. Drive from Blue Lagoon to Keflavik Airport is about 25.min.

Full description
Your tour begins in Reykjavík where you’ll be picked up at your hotel / guesthouse/ designated bus stop by a Smartbus and taken to the Destination Blue Lagoon bus station. From there, travel for 45 minutes on a luxurious coach to the Blue Lagoon, passing through historic lava fields and into the otherworldly vistas of the Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark. Upon arrival, walk along a 300-meter lava corridor to the entrance of the main complex. After checking in, you’ll receive a towel and electronic wristband that functions as the key to your locker and enables you to make cashless purchases during your visit. Once you’ve showered and changed into your bathing suit, enter the legendary blue waters. Enjoy the mineral-rich warmth of the Blue Lagoon and explore on-site facilities including a sauna, steam room, massage waterfall, and in-water facilities for refreshments and masks
Your Blue Lagoon Comfort admission includes one free drink of your choice at the lagoon’s swim-up bar. Choose from juices, smoothies, soft drinks, and stronger beverages. Also included is a silica mud mask at the in-water mask bar. The mask bar also offers masks composed of the Blue Lagoon’s other natural treasures: algae, minerals, and lava. At the end of your experience, return on the bus to Reykjavik, then hop back on a Smartbus at the terminal to be transferred back to Reykjavik or Keflavik Airport.
